Behind the Words

Growing up, I was always able to express myself most through my writing. But, it wasn’t until 2020 that I finally listened to my inner voice and challenged myself to become a published writer. Thank goodness I did. I always strive to learn and develop my literary style and voice, approaching every challenge I come across as an experience to grow and develop as a writer.

I can just remember picking up my first Dungeons and Dragons book and pouring through its contents to figure out how to create a fantastical story to share with my friends and family. The grueling task of creating is often a vulnerable one. It's crazy to consider the understanding that I have created something, and even still, it feels unreal. Day after day of reading, writing, and absorbing content, all to develop something that I feel proud to present to you.
