The process that aids me

in music, in writing, in fiction, in dreams; all the beauty found in between

"Far from the ash, I will be born again; where every debt is repaid. Nothing left to keep me out of Paradise, as portraits of the past fade away. Far beyond the Act, I will be whole again - a phoenix out of the flame. I'm burying the menace in a memory; a funeral held in my name"

The Fire (Remains), The Dear Hunter

C.S. Lewis; Lev Grossman; Andrezej Sapkowski; George R.R. Martin; J.R.R. Tolkein

The Artists that inspired

Literary content is the key to inspiration. But, not the only thing that holds my interest. Throughout the process of The Scattered War, I have tilled the soil of inspiration. Within the book, I have trudged through blizzards and sand storms. I have been submerged in the sea, and in the muck of the Shit City of Stilben. Needless to say. Within this book, I have traveled far more than the trek covered in the Maiden's Journey. And what was the help of the progress? The Magician's Nephew; The Magician's; The Witcher Series; A Dance with Dragons; and the Hobbit. Though, not only that but Thrice's 2021 album: Horizons / East and Manchester Orchestra's The Million Masks Of God. Throughout the voyage taken from one country to the next, I sought to ask the question within Act II: "What is fire?" It is a symbol that many see as destruction, as desire, a burning of passion. These are the themes that inspired me; the Music, and the Literature, that helped me to create

Act II: The Scattered War.
